WP1 – Development of Laboratory Tools and Resources
|WP1||Development of Laboratory Tools and Resources||WP Leader: Dominique Rocha (INRAE)||INRAE, FBN, DIAGENODE, MLU, UNILIM|
|Task 1.1||Generation and characterization of new bovine cell lines||Task Leader: Marion Schmicke (MLU)||MLU, FBN, INRAE, UNILIM|
|Task 1.2||Establishment of a new automated ChIP-seq protocol||Task Leader: Celine Sabatel (DIAGENODE)||DIAGENODE, FBN, ULIEGE, INRAE|
WP1 will develop molecular biology and genomic tools (i.e., protocols) and resources (i.e., cell lines, antibodies) for further steps to deliver a comprehensive genome annotation map of the bovine genome. The new characterized cell lines will be used to create a map of functionally active structural elements in the bovine genome (WP2, 5) and for functional validation of candidate regulatory variants (WP6). In addition, they will serve as a reference and gold standard for future methodological developments in functional genome annotation. The new protocols and antibodies will enable the generation of high-quality data from the FAANG core assays for a comprehensive functional annotation map of the bovine genome.
